Dynamic lighting, and more realistic, for lighting blocks.
Dynamic Lights 1.19.2, 1.18.2, 1.17.1 and 1.16.5 is a mod that modifies the lighting effects of most of the Minecraft objects that have the ability to illuminate their environment. Now, the lighting of these blocks or objects will be dynamic, instead of the static lighting that these blocks and objects have by default.
The difference between static and dynamic lighting can be seen on many occasions, but let’s take some examples. With static lighting, the illumination of a torch is constant and limited to a specific and defined distance. With dynamic lighting, the illumination of a torch is “variable”, simulating the movement of the flame due to the wind. Although this effect, much more realistic, will affect the rest of the blocks and objects that emit light.
Another remarkable feature offered by dynamic lighting is that we can walk with a torch in hand, while illuminating our surroundings, something that does not happen without installing this mod. Another feature is that in the caves, we can throw with the “Q” a torch into a hole, so that the torch will continue to illuminate while falling, and even on the ground will be illuminating the environment.
