Lock & Key Mod for Minecraft 1.19.2, 1.18.2, 1.16.5 and 1.15.2

Blocking access to blocks and objects with their own inventory.

Lock & Key 1.19.2, 1.18.2, 1.16.5 and 1.15.2 is a mod that offers a simple way to block access to all those blocks that have their own inventory. This will allow us to ensure that only we can access these elements. This blocking is done through the use of a golden key.

Making the key is very simple, as we can see in the image below this publication. Once a key is made, we will have to pass it through an anvil to give it a name. This name will work as a password. After naming the key, we will place it in the character’s hand and press right mouse click on the block or object we want to block.

To unlock press “Shift + right click”. Let’s imagine that we lock a chest. Once locked, that chest cannot be broken, unless we unlock the chest first, or we break the chest with the key, which locks it, in the character’s hand.

If we want to avoid that when we die another player can recover our key and open all our blocks and objects, we can enchant the key with the Curse of Vanishing enchantment.
