Minecraft Forge

The tool that makes it possible to install Mods in Minecraft.

Forge 1.19.2, 1.18.2, 1.17.1, 1.16.5 and 1.12.2 is a Mod loader for Minecraft that allows players to install modifications to the game. Thanks to this tool the operation, installation and compatibility of Minecraft modifications is simpler, faster and more functional.

This popular mod loader has been in development for many years and it is for this reason that the vast majority of modders focus on Forge to develop their creations. Another objective of this tool is to be able to install several installed Mods and avoid, as much as possible, conflicts between them.

Forge is the basic tool that any Minecraft player, who wants to install Mods, must have installed in the game. So if you want to be able to enjoy the vast majority of popular Mods you will have to install Forge in your Minecraft installation before you can install any Mod.

What specifically are the Forge API files? Looks like minecraft.jar has a bunch of compiled code in it so how do I paste files into it?
