More immersive animals? This mod is here to make it happen.
Naturalist 1.19.2 and 1.18.2 is a mod that focuses on the generation of new animals, with the premise that these are able to interact with the rest of the animals. Therefore, we are talking about a mod that has been created to offer us animals that are truly immersive. Let’s see some examples.
At the moment the mod adds bears, caterpillars, butterflies, deer, fireflies, snails, birds and snakes. All these animals will be naturally generated in forest biomes and plains. Let’s see how these new animals behave and what their interactions are.
Bears will not attack us unless we touch their cubs, although they will attack deer. The caterpillars will create chrysalises, from which butterflies will emerge, looking for flowers to pollinate. Deer roam the world chewing grass and running away from any bears.
Snakes will hunt small animals for food. Snails crawl through the world aimlessly. Fireflies will create very beautiful light effects at night, both in forests and in plains and swamps. Finally, we will find birds chirping in the leaves of trees.
