Ranged attacks, using elemental orbs, with impact damage and special effects damage.
The Basic Elements 1.16.5, 1.12.2 and 1.11.2 offers us a new possibility to perform ranged attacks. As you know, by default, we can only attack from a distance using arrows, bow or crossbow. These ranged attack elements are elemental orbs. Throwing these orbs is similar to throwing a snowball.
At this moment we will be able to use a maximum of eight elemental orbs. Of these eight orbs we find four natural elements; which are fire, water, air and earth. In addition there are two dimensional orbs, which are Nether and Aether. Finally we see the creative and invisible orb, which we can only get from the creative tab.
For example, the earth orb causes basic damage to the impacted entity. The fire orb, in addition to impact damage, will set the entity on fire. The air orb, in addition to causing impact damage, will launch the entity through the air and will receive fall damage. The water orb will cause impact damage especially to those entities susceptible to this fluid.
How to install The Basic Elements Mod for Minecraft?
- Download Minecraft Forge
- Download The Basic Elements Mod
- Double click on the downloaded Forge file to run the installer.
- Paste the downloaded mod file into the .minecraft/mods folder
- We can now throw elemental orbs at our enemies!
